thats Great, !
allot of the brushes you are using would look allot more fluid and organic by using painter x instead of photoshop, my techniques are developed around the corel painting engine, and the pattern chalk tool.
nothing in Photoshop can touch that
good luck

Great stuff. I found the ribcage on the face pretty damn cool. Andriod is right with using the painter x.

Made a new one after comming back from the NZ workshop and seeing android in person.
Used Corel Painter and alchemy this time omg, never had this much fun painting.
I also got a gig with DJ Ztrip in January, awesome!
Also experimenting using Modul8 Video DJ program in conjunction.

Made another one as an example to show some club owners who want some visuals.
This time I used modul8 at the end to manipulate the recording in real time.
Of course I sped it up cause it all took about an hour.
My god this is fun, I've got my first gig this friday. :wtf:
Oh and thanks to DJ Dameza for mixing me a track.

inverse catheter: I'll try and get someone to film our next gig, people love seeing Alchemy at clubs esp with the new constant colour switch feature.
Here's a sped up recording at gig we did a couple of weeks ago.
We now call ourselves Acumen, and we are supporting DJ Z-Trip this weekend. Should be epic lol.

Evil_Sloth man, I dont mean to be incendiary so take this with a grain of salt, but the format in your november piece and the overall feel and stamps use are too close to Android's work for comfort imho... in color and matter... it's cool to be inspired by him, but maybe you should give it more of your own style and flavor?

haha cool mate!
I think that you should loosen up your dress a bit, you look like a buisness man, which imo isn't the look you should be going for, roll up your sleeves and loose the tie! also try to stand with a bit more confidence, people will probably react better. You don't have to dress up like Andrew, but at least dress in way that reflects what you are doing.
Id also like to see you develop the face in fewer strokes, you keep redrawing elements which don't look that good in a show.
It would be awesome if you could move away from androids style, and make it your own, though in a performance you need that edgy and fast style that is easy to watch.
Though in the mean time try and have a bit more sense making in the image, so far they are pretty random, if you look at jones stuff, he has a coherent theme in the images.
Good luck dude, and make sure you keep having fun!

I agree, I love Andrew's work but it's Andrew's work. I don't like the idea of ripping off artists. Try to take Android's principles and morph it into your own style.
