This is my 3rd insertion to the DSG... interesting topic... I was thinking of the goblin tribes from Magic the Gathering when I drew this.

littlemac- that's a cool sketch, I think it would be funny if his tongue was longer and almost too the chicken but just falling short.

I spent quite some time on this one, just because I felt like it.
The basic sketch didn´t take that much time, but the coloring did.
I´m not used to color, and I keep looking for tools and color palettes which might look good.

In painter 5 (what i use) It is very annoying to switch colorpalettes. There isn´t a list to choose from. Just the plain old load menu.
Wonder if they fixed that in later versions?

My friend saw this and liked to think that 2 goblins were fighting over some food, the loser went crying on a mushroom and the winner got to cook it. Not the intention, but oh well...the cooking goblins are supposed to be cooking a shoe, and the mushroom goblin is happy that he found a mushroom as big as himself...but he passed out from hunger before he could eat it.
