Hey everyone, im an artist looking to improve my skills in painting. I have an art site www.kyubisharingan.deviantart.com where i post my stuff (dont laugh cuz im a noob T_T). A couple of friends told me about this place so i have been here a couple of times...but its so big i get lost XD. Anyway, this seems like the place where i can improve my skill in painting.
i want to be able to paint like this person http://charlie140588.deviantart.com/
and this person http://janaschi.deviantart.com/

This section is really for specific technical questions about Photoshop. For help finding your way around CA, check out this thread (http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=90377).

Hey, Elwell pointed you to the right direction, but still I will reply: first of all, you're not as N00b as you think you are: i browsed through your gallery at Deviantart and you have some interesting stuff, your coloring is good and you have a nice composition sense, among other positive things. To get better, you really need to learn correct figurative art proportions for anatomy, and just practice practice practice. As much as you like anime and it's style, in order to learn you must leave you it a bit to the side, and try to draw and paint what you see in the real world, as much as you can.
