Interesting idea Redmond. The green writing doesn't seem to fit though, nor the yellow blob in the corner. What's the story about, or is this cover fairly self-explanatory?
Sincerely,
Chris

I was just hired for the cover, and given some instructions on what should be going on. The samples of the interior art I saw is great. I think I went a bit too far with the subtext implied in it.

Very nicely portrayed dude, the story sort of emits from the cover, so for me it just look cool.:chug:

the JC Lyendecker style to the magician really works for the period feel, good stuff. But the background feels a little too broken to me, maybe the lettering could be thicker? The yellow in the corner is distracting, but the contrast with his leg is great, maybe use more of the yellow, balance it across the image?

I was just paid for the figures and their coloring so the background is just for fun. I don't know how it'll look printed.
