I haven't been around ol' conceptart.org for awhile. But looking around again, the quality of the work here is always so very, very impressive. Though most of my work doesn't quite fit in style with what goes on here, I thought I'd post a couple recent pieces anyway.

I hope you like 'em. And, of couse, I love feedback.

Ben:

Dude, I hate to see such nice work go un-commented on. The lineart is excellent on the first piece, and I really like to composition. The way she is almost a part of the foliage completes the butterfly likeness.

Unfortunately, all I see for the second image is a red X. Maybe check your IMG tag...

Your website looks great also. I love your sequential comic art...if only there were more of it.

Thanks Chris! I checked out your site as well and I love your clean style.

I'm having a problem with the second image, I think because I'm trying to bring it in from an ftp site. I'd love to get a suggestion of what to do about it.

There will be more sequential stuff up on my website in the next six weeks or so. I'm doing four pages an issue for a sort of literary magazine right now and I am going to post the pages on my site a few weeks after each issue comes out. I could post them here now, but I'd have that same ftp problem.

second one's an x for me too...:(

But the first pic is very nice, I like the colors (or the absence of color?)

Wow, this is really fluid and wonderful..

I also think that you may have lost some of the weightlessness of the picture by cropping woman. I learned from trial, error, and eye opening crits from others; When you want to convey flight, make the person visually and compositionally fly on the page. When you cut them off, especially at the feet, you loose the illusion.( they might be cheating, and could be standing or balancing on something)

I think including her whole body in the picture would add another level of amazement to the picture.

I do think the picture is amazing already though.

I got the second image to show up but it's painfully small. I'm still curious to find out if there's a way to post images from an ftp site...

Thanks for the appreciation. I haven't been able to sit down and just do a random image like this for awhile.
