Learning the digital Trade

Hello every one!! I'm new to the boards so i want to start off by saying hello.

I have been drawing forever it seems like and I want to further my art skills. I'm a 2d artist and most of my work is pencile and ink "comic book artist". So my question is where are some good web sites or books on how to paint, color, do lighting FX, and all that good stuff. Any info would help out and be a life saver!!

Subscribe to ImagineFX. Do the workshops. Go to their site and do the workshops already there. Go to Bumskee's Digital Painting thread and start diving in with some studies.
