Hello artists!
First of all I'd like to thank you for taking the time to look at this post. I am very pleased to be posting here and am hoping to hear back from a few talented artists. Before I go any further, please check out the game's website, which just went up and will have many updates in the near future as more game information is added.

Having original art for each individual card is not necessary for gameplay, but, as any card game player knows, the artwork definitely adds a certain finesse that I would love to be able to add to Deus ad Bellum. So that is why I am here for. Here are some details about myself and the game.
I have one year left before I graduate with my Bachelors in Computer Science at San Jose State University. I have worked on many video game projects before this one, including a few RPGs and even a FPS. So, I have much experience as far as developing indie games along with a clear sense of reasonable goals and expectations. Because of this knowledge I decided to develop Deus ad Bellum.
The game project is being developed using Microsoft's XNA Game Studio and is being developed for the XBOX360. There are three main goals behind the development of Deus ad Bellum. The first goal is to build a portfolio and be able to show off a complete, professional looking piece of work to future possible employers. Secondly, we are reaching to finish the project in time to submit it to the DreamBuildPlay Challenge(www.dreambuildplay.com), which is giving away $75,000 worth of prices plus much recognition. So if we did win the prize would be split evenly. The third goal, which is hopefully more of a side-product during the development of the game, is to just have fun making the game.
Currently the team consists of a wonderful composer and myself. We are both working hard on the project and I'm putting in well over 50+ hours a week. Of course, those hours will not be expected for any of the other project members.
If you are interested in joining please feel free to either reply to this post or contact me. Please keep in mind that we are going for a very clean professional look. Also note that the game is using pastel colors for the most part.
Thank you again for your time and please check back for updates!
