Heyo! I'm Bri. Hi. Um. I've been lurking on CA for... a year or so at least, and what I've seen pleases me greatly. I finally have a collection of stuff that I feel could start a substantial sketchbook, so here I am to share it.
I'm a student at SCAD, have been drawing all my life, and currently have no idea where exactly I'm going with it but I'm trying my best to get there. I guess. I enjoy being critiqued, it's very tasty. Anyoos, enough pointless nattering-- no one's interested in blocks of text. Have some art.
First off, a couple gesture sketches from my Drawing II class. I have zillions of these, and may upload some more later.

And a series of work from my Life Drawing I class...
One of my first drawings, one session (2.5 hr class)

A later drawing -- supposed to be 2 sessions, but I missed one class.

These here are from a sketchbook assignment I did for a class. The sketchbook has about fifty finished pages, but I just decided to post a few. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. :)
This was the intro page to the first half of my sketchbook, which was all figurative stuff. Insert standard complaints about scanner, crops, and colors here.

Some blue pencil figure sketches...

http://img354.imageshack.us/img354/8887/ohaies6.jpg
And a little character sketch. I have a few more of these, but this was my favorite from this sketchbook.

And some hands, since I currently have a very Liefield-esque approach to drawing them. Which is... not drawing them. They're modeled after my own oddly-shaped mitts, so I guess I need more practice with better models.

Perspective practice -- using photographs of houses and sketching them from different angles. I have more of these, but they're too big for my scanner. I'll have to photograph them or something...

More to come! :)

Doing a giant dump of art! It's only been... what... a year? Anyway.
These are some pages from a sketchbook for one of my classes. We had to do five-minute drawings of faces, figures, vehicles, architecture, and still lifes, half with pencil, half with ink. They have time stamps on 'em. As you can see I spent a little more than five minutes on some, a little less on others. I figure I averaged out okay.

For these pages we were supposed to do four texture patches and a set of quick drawings with an assigned medium, no pencil underdrawings or anything. The first five are crowquill, the last one is brush.

Aaaand some fairy concepts for an environment page. I'll upload the page once I can get a decent image of it. Ended up scrapping the fairy idea in the end, but I still kind of like the designs.

A few 10-minute figure drawings from one of my classes. The prof wanted us to do this weird constructive circle draw-through-y thingie. It was hard to keep the gestural energy of the poses while drawing in this style, so I think they look kind of like robots? Robots are cool.

And finally, a set of images in 1, 2, and 3 point perspective. The last one was rushed and is all warpy.

I like your fairy/grasshopper designs, they are original and well executed.
The first perspective study looks very nice detail and perspective wise, the other two need work, but you noticed as well.
