[ Maybe as part of a parade... ]

[ Maybe as a marketing gimmick... ]

[ Maybe as a declaration of the inventor's achievement... ]

[ Maybe as a display of power by the police... ]

[ Or, maybe it has even become a commonplace sight, and everyone rides dragons now. :) ]

Kinda feeling off today... all well, here is the third attempt. I apologize for the lack of quality. Though, I do like the blur of movement, I'm just too frustrated to continue...

Not to happy about this, but I guess it will do for today, I think the main problem is that the dragon looks as if it's floating above the road, not standing on it.

Fun topic! This one could use a lot of polishing but i'l post it anyways. Realised i have never drawn a city or village enviroment until this one, i tend to draw forests instead so it was good trainin'!

Oh and could anyone explain how to use the thanking function, i would appreciate it :).

Didn't really spend much time on this, but it's late, so I might improve it tomorrow.

I never pass up an opportunity to draw a messed up Tokyo. Make way for Neo Tokyo, mang.

I didn't have a thanks button the first few days either. I guess it's activated after some time, or after a certain number of posts.

Many people seems to think that pretty pictures and flattery are useful things, but personally I'll only give thanks for crits and explanations. :^)

Whew, here's mine... I took about 2 hours or so on it. I had fun doing it! The main focus was again on colors, but this time with more challenging perspective since I suck at it. It was a learning experience, I can definitely see a huge leap in my improvement - thanks to DSG. :D

Here's my version. I know it's a little late, but I liked the concept and wanted to do it. Critiques are very welcome. I suppose it's the slums of Tokyo... I couldn't get the buildings to work like they did in goran's. *whistles in disbelief* - I don't know how to bridge that gap in concept art between speedpaint and realism. I guess I'm learning. Anyway, here's my image.
