I've always liked the idea of Draconians from Dragon Lance since I was a wee little lad so here's a quick repaint of one of them from a WOTC book.

I like this. Good pallet and shading. My only crit would be that you should make the front edges of the wings a little sharper. Right now, they are a little blurry and that pushes them back. Bring out the front of the wings to the contrast/detail of the face or feet and I think it would look great! Looks good :D

nice man very nice personally i saw draconians as skinnyer but thats what converting your image from a book is all about right now just draw all the characters lol GET TO IT BOY!!! :D nice work im not sure what it is but i think it could be the lighting/shading on the axe amkes it seem a little out of place

Hey!
Great painting u got here! i espeacially like the way the head is painted, extremely sweet detail! u might wanna make a detail shot to take this thread a bit further. :)
My only crit (and it can be a matter of style) is that the painting is not done as a whole. What i mean is that u concentrate on the axe and the face leaving the rest of the body not too clear.
Thx for for sharing such a wonderfull picture.
Cheers :chug:

Sarcasm- Thank you. You're right I zoomed in on the axe and the head, but I used up all my patience for the image on those two areas.
Blastzone- Yeah I thought the latest paintings I've seen are a bit too stocky, but I'm trying to do something in the same style as the book. All the characters eh- that what would challenge my ADD.
Gunbu- good point I wonder if I can just sharpen the wings and add a little more rendering to the cloack and salvage the picture with a minimal amount of paint strokes.
