Well, I'm 16, I'm relatively new to these forums, but it seems like a great place to come to whether you're a professional, or committed to learning the basics, I'm the latter.
Besides school art & V.C.D, I've done a little bit of sketching, enough digital work to know the basics of Photoshop & Sketchup, and yeah that's about it. I'm hoping to learn my anatomy properly first, and once that's done I'll work on my values and colour.
Any feedback is much appreciated :).

Well, this is my first skethbook post, excluding the main body.
Mostly worked on anatomy here, hands and bones, mostly skulls.

Hey Lex and welcome aboard :)
Good start! Drawing the bones is such a fundamental part of learning anatomy. It's very good to see you studying the basics, that way your imaginative stuff will be much better. Just watch out for the edges on the pencils, remember to define the form. Is that skull drawn from life or a photo? I realize it may be hard to acquire one, so I'm guessing photo, but nothing beats having the real three dimensional thing in front of you while drawing.
Anway, good stuff, keep updating :)

Asab: Thanks for the post and the welcome, and the skulls are drawn from photos, not real life life unfortunatly.
Small update, mainly poses.

I was looking through other sketchbooks on CA, and I found Patri's, truly great stuff in there. Anyway I saw his 'scribble drawings' and just had to do one.
Without further ado.

Not up to Patri's standard of course..

Some quick character studies I whipped out, mostly trying to convey personality, and to experiment with skin colour.
Will try to update regularly from now on.

Just a doodle and a speedpaint here, I really should update this more often.
I need to work on my colour more forsooth, that metal is done quite badly, though I don't mind the speedpaint (time taken 30 mins).
But I'd like other opinions on it.

Awesome work so far. You are in much better shape drawing-wise than I was at your age. Those are some real awesome dogs. Are they from life, or photos?
You should push the contrast in your shaded drawings more - contrast and shadows really help define form. Try making your darks much darker, and your whites whiter.
