The 2nd angel of my seasonal angels series is completed! I couldn't have done it without all the great critique given to me here:) You can see Angel of Spring here (http://ladydove7.deviantart.com/art/Angel-of-Spring-88714518).
This series has been an experiment in line thickness and watercolor in an attempt to combine two things I love, the eyepopping texture of black and white work and the translucent ethereal quality of watercolor. I think Winter here has been the most successful so far.
I'm about to move on to Summer, but I am a bit stumped! For some reason I cannot get a clear mental image for her. I think of strong winds, brewing storms, turquoise, and gold, but the figure's pose still hasn't come tome. Any thoughts?
