This may be just me, but I feel that the eyes on both characters aren't as effective as they could be. The eyes on the girl feel a little too stylized. Based off her eyes, her feelings don't read too well (though her gesture definitely excels in that department)

With the alien, his eyes seem a little too stern. Based off the title, I'd assume that he's sincerely apologizing. However, the eyes make it seem that he's more upset of the fact that he has to apologize, rather than because he hurt her feelings - a sort of swallowing one's pride thing. Though this expression works, I'm not too sure if that's the feeling you were aiming for. I'm just nitpicking though.

You've rendered a marvelous piece here. Well done :)
