i like this piece alot...my only criticism is that there isn't enough contrast at the bottom of the piece. The background and the cliff seem to blend. Otherwise...i like it.

no crits from me, i like your drawing style, maybe, the girls far leg looks long, or its hanging too far out, looks as if she might be leaning too forward and fall off the cliff.
"shishiko" if you change the order of few of the letters "oshiko" means 'pee' in japaese!

I think i like them both, maybe if you want the darks in the lower right corner to stay, you could use the color in the top image as the hi-lite color (the reds) instead of the light cream color, and keep your strokes broader like the top image.....I think that is why I like the top image because it seems to be done with authority and confidence. Ilike the way you added darker colors to the column though.

cool style all in all reminds me of block printing.
