You'll have to click on the third photo to enlarge but I believe its a Phil Hale painting and a slew of other cool art! Can anyone tell me who did that really cool black and white piece?
Who knew reading the news would lead me back to this forum.
Thanks All!

Hale often works huge like that. Robert B, why would you think its a print?

I was actually hoping it was a print...I can't imagine owning an original like that. Besides having lot and lots and lots of cash, how does one go about even getting one?

1. Contact artist, representative, or gallery.
2. Exchange currency for goods.

And the one on the left of Phil Hale is a James Jean's painting for Fables cover #62.... it sold on ebay many months ago for about $5,000 if I remember correctly.... you can probably guess how sick I felt for not winning it, heh.

Well, I would think that it would make sense for it to be. I mean, if the article is about affordable housing I'd think that the buyers would also go for affordable art. Not saying its neccessarily that way, but it would make sense to me.

My thoughts exactly Peter. The article was about affordable housing and to be able to afford stacks of original paintings at that caliber is just crazy to me.
Nonetheless it is entertaining to see fantasy art being displayed in the mainstream media.

Also thanks Mr. Elwell for the tip to obtain art. I also found some original art on ebay which may help newbies like myself.

If these were all originals, that would be my dream collection right there...

I have many friends who have significant original works of art without being nearly wealthy. And if you live in NYC, you can be making over six figures and still require "affordable housing".
