Okay, big post today.

First off, I have to say that I had no use of my mirror today and the following DSP is wouthout refs. Hence the far eye, the ear position and nostrils, but I'm learning! and tomorrow, I will have my lucky mirror back.

Hey Wazz, i've been trying out painter for a while now, a lot of tools to use, was wondering what brushes you use often or if you just tried all of them out. Also do you use multiple layers, and do you approach each piece like traditional painting? Thanks for any input.

okay you wanted wips/inbetweens/twinkies/wetkittens what ever you call it. Well you got it. A full Wazzz DSP process.

Let's kick off, shall we?

Okay, started new image 800x600 like usual. Ogled mirror and decided on pose. Drew starting circle, added lines for chin, and whatnot. made traingle for noses, went to the bathroom. All the usual. Decided on three main lightsources and some natural light colors, just like outside.

okay, added eyes, irises, lips, chin and cheeks. Rounding of nose... quick ear. Decided here to add hand later so no more detail on left side of face (my left)

First colors. 50% gray with a touch of orange for base, adding white, blue and green. Darkgrey/blue for hair. Red around nose adn eyes. Some neutral tones for b/g.

My friends and I think you trace over pictures… prove us wrong.
