I thought I should put a post together that has links to all the great animation resources out there in the published media. This list is just my personal link collection at work, so if you know of more great animation sites, feel free to add to the list.

Book Recommendations
The two books below are the first books I bought, and I have them sitting here next to me on my desk at work. Animators Survival Kit is a necessity for any animator. Illusion of Life is a heavy read, but there is so many great tips and so much history in there, it’s a must read.
"Animators Survival Kit" - Richard Williams
“Illusion of Life" - Frank Thomas, Ollie Johnston
Other books I own and recommend:
“Acting for Animators”– Ed Hooks
"Stop Staring: Facial Modeling and Animation Done Right" - Jason Osipa
Now there are a bunch of great books that I haven’t read, but which come highly recommended. I was going to link them all here, but they are all taken from the links above. http://www.carlosbaena.com/resource/resource_books.html is a good start if you are looking for more reading material on animation.
Finally, here is a link to Jim Jagger’s website. He has a collection of links to all the animators that inspire him the most, and I couldn’t make a better list if I tried. If you’re looking for inspiration, your first stop should be here -http://www.jimjagger.com/Pages/Documents/Links_Muses.htm
Hope this helps out everyone looking to get into animation, or push their animating ability. I know I’m no pro, and I use these references daily to keep pushing my work to the best of my ability.
