Wow... Super stoked that caorg has an HTML enabled animation forum! Some of you might have seen this around the web but I thought it was a good first post in here anyway.

Vector illustration done in corelDRAW, lit up in Lightwave, edited with Photoshop, composited in Aftereffects, sound done in Premiere and compiled in Flash. Thanks!

Realtime playback will start once each frame loads... Approximately 3 megs.

Here is the initial corelDRAW vector illustration... A little under 900 shapes/layers.

This was an all Lightwave layout... I liked this version the best but the collision rain particle calcs along with motion blur and volumetric lighting was bringing my machine to its knees at minimum high def resolution so... I made the final in Adobe aftereffects.

Sweet effects. I really like the details, and rendering on the bike. The only thing I am unsure of is the birds. While I like the juxtaposition of the realism, the overall image might flow better with stylized birds. Nice work!

Thanks DrNero,
The birds would have worked well as a vector animation for sure. I actually wanted cranes instead of geese but... Just concept art... I envision the final scene as all 3D components with real world elements. Later!

Preatty F***ing sweet. nice job on this man. Would of been cool to see the suspension on the bike visible somewhat and maybe shown some wind on the characters like a scarf or wrist cloth even hair coming out of the helmet.
Either way this is uber cool dude, i got to try somthing like that thanx for the inspiration.

I love the bike & the visual storytelling, but I agree with DrNero that the birds don't fit in there.

nice job, I'm kinda curious what it would look like with some vibration in either the wheels or the bike frame, or the BG, really like your concept!
