Hi everyone! Its been a long time since I last posted. I'm now going to be a senior at CCAD in the fall. I'd like to thank some of the people who critiqued some of my stuff on vent in the past few weeks.

dude i totally lol'ed when i read the name of your thread...nice

i love that environment study, the one with the house in the forest and the light coming through. it does seem though that the water is lacking the same realism that the rest of the peice is. maybe some reflections across the water would help?

check out some animal anatomy books, and think ken hultgren wrote a good one. could help to make your creatures and such look more convincing.

nice post, there is a good variety of work here. keep it up, it looks great.

I think you need to use less black in your shadows and when blending. Also watch your edges, they're often quite blurry and muddy. Regarding composition, I think most of these look pretty good. But I feel that "seussfinal1ainternet.jpg" and "forestbotnew.jpg" might be a little off balance.
