Eyyy...

This is my first post in this section, made these lately, trying to do some more PS/Painter stuff.
Gonna practice more to losin it up a bit, but these I call finished for now, if I don´t look at them to long...haha.

Really like the background in the first one. The castle really pulls it together. Love those haunted houses on hills like that.

I like that first one, but I think it could be pushed further pretty easily.

You might want to introduce some more colors and values. It feels a bit dark and the use of white as an omnipresent highlight is resulting in a slightly flat feel. Also, her face is pretty well lit but with the moon well behind her, I have to wonder what is casting that light. I'd suggest to keep her well lit, but hang something off the fence that casts a yellow/orange light to push some contrast into the painting and pull the character out of the background.

Any way. That is all just one gimp's opinion and you can, of course, tell me to fuggoff :P

These are pretty cool, I think it could benefit if the textures were not that obvious; you could try painting over them/blurring them to make them more intergrated with the picture.

Thanks for the feedback everybody, I´m gonna try and fix the light on her face issue and yes I was playing with textures and overdid them haha...at the moment I´m trying to learn all the things I can do with PS, sometimes I don´t have a clue, but I´m busy gathering information and step by step it ´s getting better...I hope.

Made some changes on the haunted girly piece, put in a lamp thanks to Sourgasm and ofcourse bats, how could I forget...haha
