I've been looking in for a while, but this is the first time I've tried submitting. I'm going to school to be an animator, but I'm disappointed how little drawing I've done lately so I'm trying to break into the habit again in my newfound time off.

I tried to make an intimidating opponent holding the arm of his last victim in hand while standing in front of his pile of similar "trophies".

Drawn in pencil, and scanned into photoshop for coloring. My first time trying that too. I know I have a little bit of difficulty working with color so please be gentle.

ErrantVanguard: I like your robot design much, except its feet, they're so small and awkward... and the ripped off hands collection is a nice idea, but we don't see it sooo clearly, especially the piles tell nothing about it, without your texts I would never know they are robot arms.

Couldn't decide which one i liked better so i will post both of them.

And now some feedback on my part:
PlasmaErnst: love the anatomy study, and the contrast between muscles and robot parts.
goran: amazing as always, funny, colorful and well composed.
llothcat: cool color scheme and perspective.
Gorgoleon: interesting color scheme, the whole painting has a distinctive feel to it, very moody and cold. I don't know if that's what you wanted to achieve, but if it is, then you've done it well :).
revelations: ah yes, the classic black and red contrast, gotta love that, i must admit that's what comes to my mind when i'm thinking of robots (used it myself). Packs a lot of feeling and nothing says, warning, cold blood killing machine, then this color combo.
Kicek: dude jaw dropping perspective and color scheme. Hmmm lemme guess, environments are your strong point, am i right? Very inspirational. And the lighting looks great too.
DeuceRok: Looks great dude, for your first attempt it's really impressive. I can sense the spotlight on the two, and as you can see i did one in black and white as well, because i thought robots look really cool depicted using short range of colors.
dsg : looks really cool. love the pose. It really looks as if it was towering over it's foe menacingly.

Yes, i used multiple pictures as reference. Pics of arm-wrestling, prosthetics, robotized stuff, cables, and car building machinery. About the filters, i just thought that it would make it look better, dunno if i succeeded. I wasn't really pleased with it's original state. Thanks for the advice though!
