We are looking for a couple of freelance artists to help create illustrations for a horse-themed card game.

This contract opportunity requires artists who have good line-work with an ability to draw environments, animals (primarily horses) and people. In an attempt to follow the style currently established, we currently prefer the art to be drawn in pencil, but are prepared to be wowed beyond belief by computer-based illustrations.

Resumes are not required. We want to see your art to gauge style and skill level. Those who have well-drawn horses in their submission will be looked upon favourably.

In addition to the rate of $75 per piece of art, artists will be credited for their work. Funleague Games will retain all copyright of the artwork generated.

Please send us a link to your online portfolio, or post sample images on a web-based image site. Due to the volume of inquiries, we will reply only to those who have good stylistic compatibility with our project. To view samples of the kind of artwork we're looking for, visit www.funleaguegames.blogspot.com.

Thanks very much for your interest! Contact us at funleaguegames@shaw.ca

In summary:
Artists will be credited for their work.
Only the fully-shaded, polished pencil work is required. Colouring will be handled separately.
Copyright will be retained by Funleague Games.
The rate is $75 per image.

We look forward to hearing from you. :)

ALL copyrights is unusual (and usually expensive). Are you sure you require all rights? That is going to be a sticking point for many illustrators of good caliber.
