Hi all members in Holland / Amsterdam region.
Since it seems (at least to me) to be hard to find any part-time professional art teaching in the Netherlands, especially in the direction of concept art, environments, and related stuff, i would like to get together with a bunch of interested people and organise this ourselves. I mean this as for instance we get a space, a figure-drawing teacher and some models once a week and split the cost.
As i have not computed costs and such i have no idea if this is feasible. The reason i ask is because i would like to know if there are people interested, or if you perhaps know a good teacher or space we might use. If there are enough people enthusiastic we can discuss the matter further. I'm really serious about this. Ask your friends too! The idea is that we get together with dedicated people that have a lot of interest in drawing cooncepts. We then find people that are experienced to either give one class or perhaps pay them to give a number of them. Even if we set up a one-time meeting for this i would be happy.
Maybe you also have other advice as to where i could get education from in this area.
Any other people with experience in these matters please react too!
