That was pretty silly. A star means that much for you? And now no one can add more stars to maybe get that up again, as they have absolutely no idea of what the image might've been in the first place.

You don't post here for stars, you post here for feedback and to show off your work. If you post solely for stars you need to get your priorities put right.

Just because of that none can see your artwork, you can't show your artwork that I guess you're pretty proud of, and no one else can see if it was justified or not, as you took it down in the first place.

If all people not getting a full whooping five stars right away took down all their artwork, this forum would be a pretty empty place. And it would only be things to asspat. Basically an art gallery instead of a community.

Hey, I already posted a comment (and loved the picture), BUT if your going to be a dick about a one star comment, then maybe art forums aren't for you.

I have alot of people that dislike my work, and a few that like it. Art is a subjective media, people can have their own opinions. You don't have to listen to all crits and comments either. Frank Frazetta could post here and still get ripped apart by someone.

I remmeber what it looked like, there was nothin wrong with it... no reason to take it down. I noticed theres been somebody going around to all the sketchbooks marking them down by voting 1 star... Somebody is being pretty lame... But anyways, no reason not to show off your work!!! probably just some little kids who arent even looking at the work.

Why has this turned to insults? I was very happy to have posted this on here, having finally had something I was happy enough to post in the finally finished section. After having my sketchbook and this thread rated down, I thought the piece had failed and I removed it. I intended no harm and I don't understand why people took on to making these assumptions. How this all turned to insults is a mystery to me.
