View Full Version : 6d art pen and brush display in PS CS3

Hey all,
just got my 6d art brush, and it seems to work without any problems so far. The only issue I am having is the fact that the brush display (the actual brush shape with the crosshair inside that shows up underneath your pen, I am using a Cintiq) doesn't update as I twist the brush.

This isn't a huge deal, but it would help me work better if I could see the extents of the brush area as to how it relates to my current rotation.

Thanks in advance if anyone has any advice.

I don't have an Artpen myself, but I'm assuming you've checked
the preference section of Photoshop? There's the cursor section that you could check out.

Else, I wouldn't have a clue.

I'm not so sure it can do that. I only use my art pen in Painter, and even then I turn off the enhanced ghosting that shows the angle of rotation, but I'd be interested to hear if PS does have something that shows rotation.

No the brush ghost doesn't rotate in PS like it does in Painter. At least not with CS3, anyway. Also, have a care if you are using "Direction" in the "Angle Jitter" shape dynamic for the brush. Its a known bug that causes CS3 to crash. I've heard the latest update of CS2 is OK, though.
