I'm really loving your style on these. I'm quite impressed by the satine one. It looks very nice ;). Love the lips, Alita inspired, possibly? The highlights, though, on the hair seem a little odd. Sorta ruins the picture for me :( But otherwise its done pretty well :D.

I also really like the tank concept. But what are the things on top? Aren't those the sandbags they usually put around a machine gun or something on the ground? Doesn't seem very practical on a moving thing ;)But maybe I'm wrong. :)

Really like your style man, keep up the good work.

mos.

Thanks moss. Sandbags are sometimes found on tanks, although my tank is slightly unrealistic size-wise:D . I agree bout Satine's hair, i didnt like it either.:chug:

It looks like you're a creative person but I'd like to ask if you COPIED the dinosaur images from MITCH BYRD? Those are extremely close to some drawings he's done for Sketch magazine.

Well Joeslucher, Ive never seen Mitch bird's stuff, well i might have but never by that name. I got the face from a dinosaur book, but common, of course the two would look alike. the two gigantosaurs chasin the people i did from reference from the first dino, it was for fun. saying i copied is like saying i 'copied' drawing my dog from somebody else, so common, drawing a dinosaur from pictures of dinosaurs is not copying:)

In the Andras one where you say bibliography, do you possibly mean biography? It just kinda threw me off a bit... bibliography is a place where you cite your sources of info for a piece of writing. biography is like where you tell the life story of somebody.

I like your Giganotosaurus piece :) They're one of my favourite dinos. The rendering of their heads is really good.

I have to say, I too love the gigantosaurus, but I was surprised at what and obvious copy you did of that one guy, here's a comparison

This miniature was designed by GamesWorkshop a while ago, I play their games, and I think it's a bit much to say it's based on a concept you designed

The concepts are neat, but you need to improve your execution including: anatomy, perspective, and color.

Well, I don't care what anyone else thinks, I love them. Don't get me wrong, digital art is nice, but it's nice to see someone work with acrylics. :)

Hey, sorry man, i just saw how close they were, and didn't realise when you came up with the concept, and it was meant to be based on the pose.

I'm sorry but, let me get this straight. You created the character, GW copied your character, and then you used the pose for your character? Weeeeiiird.

Anyways, I think you have creativity, but maybe you are too timid to express it in your own complete style. You should practice drawing without references on a regular basis to improve, if that is your condition.

Brads3d: no...."gnashes teeth"...what i said was, that the character, which, if you look at my original sketch with the floating city and the mecha etc. bears hardly any resemblance to the necron character, only has the same pose.I never ever made a statement saying i created the necron character, i dont know how you got that idea. The necron character has three horns, my character has big fat lumpy tails on its head. Any resemblance is because the pose is the same. I was flipping through my necron codex, and saw the way that pose might look sweet on my character, so i tryed it. Im sorry if I offended you...wow, but mabye next time you should read the post, and i will work on my poses:btu:

Jesus. In another year or so, if an artist draws a human being, people are going to be yelling "you stole that idea from so and so".

This copyright thing is going to lead to no good. There are only so many ideas in the world. That is why people create art that is similar.

I swear the upset guy thinks the drawing is a copy because the creature is in the air, on a support with an outstretched arm.

Isn't that a copy of a pose that jesus or a holy guy is always in? Giving a benediction? Is the church gonna bust people for copyright?

People have two arms. They can be lowered or raised. The degree of sweep is maybe 180. That means there are 180 individual positions for each arm held in a vertical plane that cuts the body from armpit to armpit. 180 times 2 arms = 360.

That means that only 360 people in the whole world can draw a person with the arm raised. One person gets to draw one picture with one arm raised to whatever degree he is assigned. He then copyrights this pose, the arm held at that degree.

Art stops for the remainder of the future of humanity.

Copyright is all about corporations and money, not people. People want to shake the hand of the original artist, not the copier.

I was asking for clarity on the subject, not accusing. Take it easy. You have to admit that its funny you chose a pose for your character, where both your character, and the reference model, had three appendeges on their head, and ribbons around them, no?

That's a good point though, Howdy. With all the images and art available on the internet, things are bound to look similar eventually. That in addition to all the art thieves that have been outted lately is bound to make people edgy.

Kress: I just turned 18, and thanx for the comment.

Red_Rook: Allmost all of them are in markers.

Brads3d: I understand were you are comming from. Fears of copycats on the net abound, and quite often there are a few artists who trace pictures. But I agree with howdy, the pose used by GW could have come from old renessauince(sp?) pieces anyway, and my character has head tails , not spikes, and has about 7 of them. thanx for the comments everybody.:)
