I captured "created" a brush category and was playing around creating brushes to put in it. I noticed I could delete the varients except for the first one, or turn them off in customize workspace/brushes menu... but that still leaves that new category in the brushes list. Is there a way to delete that category?
Thanks.

Custom brush categories and custom brush variants we create within Painter X are automatically written by Painter X to the Painter X User folder where you can go to delete your custom brush category folder and it's associated same-name (as your custom brush category folder) JPG brush category icon image file.
1. Before closing Painter X, take note of the Workspace and the brush library where you created your custom brush catgegory.
2. Close Painter X, and go to the following folder:
Mac - Users > [User Name] > Library > Application Support > Corel > Painter X > [Workspace Name] > Brushes >
[B]Windows - Documents and Settings > [User Name] > Application Data > Corel > Painter X > [Workspace Name]> Brushes > [Brush Library Name]
3. Locate your custom brush category, highlight it, then delete it.
4. Also in that brush library folder, locate the associated same-name (as your custom brush category folder) JPG brush category icon image file and delete it.
5. Launch Painter X, load the appropriate brush library, and check the Brush Selector Bar's brush category list. You should see that your custom brush category is no longer listed.
