Greetings ayebody, :D

I'm a brand spankin' newbie to this board, but have been working in the SciFi Fantasy market for over 3 years now, and would really dig to partake in the DSG and other things going on here...

Hopefully this sketch of a middle aged ObiWan will post below, and someone will pick up this thread... I can't seem to get an avitar yet, let alone post on the DSG board..

It's really one of the hippest colection of pencil pushers, and wig flippers that I've seen on the web, and I'd love to be a part of it...

Please feel welcome to look at my website as well, it's in need of updating, but you might recognize something up there...

love your crazy use of contour lines and shading...post more as you do 'em...stuff on your site looks good

Gracious thanks man... I have my beginings in printmaking and wood engraving (not unlike Leyendecker) so I think my sketch style has something to do with that...

It tends to get in the way when clients want to see heavy darks in the sketch though...

Any idea how one can upload pics, or avitars ??

i don't know why you're having trouble with the dsg...it looks like you have your pics linked correctly in this thread...you just do it the same way for the dsg thread...find a place to host your pics...then insert them into your post using the IMG button...as for an avatar..i dunno...haven't bothered with it myself...sorry if this doesn't help...

Ohhhhh... I get it... This site just doesn't have an upload... That's why I couldn't find it.. I was thinking that one needed to be given access to a shell before you could participate, but I just went to the section and could post a remote pic..

Okay.. Well I suppose I'll have to throw all the pics up on my site first then... Hmmmm... Were folks abusing the server, or has this board always been like that ???
