I am starting a sketchbook because I am inspired by all the great work here, hopefully it will also provide more motivation to draw every day so I can improve. Updates won't only be from my sketchbook, there will be some digital work as well.

There are some REALLY good ones.
You are good at shading. I think you'll improve pretty fast if you keep at it.

Just be more careful with the proportions.
Maybe do some lineart-only-pieces (even if shading is more fun)

Man, some great stuff here. It seems, though, that you are afraid to draw hands, maybe? And you try to avoid it when possible? ;) We all do that. :) you may want to just start sitting down and just doing a few drawing sessions every week with just drawing hands. It helps a lot. No tutorial can tell you how to draw confidently.
Also, you may want to work on lips a little more. The position on the face seems a bit odd, but the rest of the faces you drew seem excellent.

mos: Thanks. Yeah I agree, I am afraid to draw hands usually, I'm going to start drawing them more though, a good example of me avoiding them is what I'm posting today, haha, which I actually drew not too long before reading your reply. I'll do a page of hands, and a page of mouths sometime today and I'll edit this post and put them in too.

Only one to post today, hopefully I'll have more tomorrow, I haven't been drawing as much as I should be. For this one I just got someone to draw some random lines on a page and I came up with this.

Haven't had much time to draw lately, but me and a friend are starting a comic about basketball, so here are some drawings from that, first two are character design, than there are some drawings needed for the first two comics and the finished comics.
