I still have some things to fix, but that's the whole point of it being WIP. C&C please:

nice job
I think you should consider the ear again. it's little bit outward in the picture. Rest is gr8. i mean all is fine but if u want it more precise then consider the ears again
love to see it finished

your making a classic beginner mistake. you've tried to capture the large scale details of the face (nostrils, ear, eye sockets) but you left out the nice gentler curves of the rest of the face. Try to think of the surface of your face, now think of it in your head, so that you are looking at the surface perpendicularly, so you can see the way the surface changes, just like a curve or a line. You want your model to follow those lines. And right now it looks like you may have added too many mesh smooth iterations for what actual geometry you have there. Keep plugin man

Hhhmmm... seems like you're having some issues in terms of details, the ears for example. Also, some of your edges are catching the light in strange ways... a couple around the eyes. Here's a great tutorial for modeling Joan of Arc (http://www.3dtotal.com/ffa/tutorials/max/joanofarc/joanmenu.asp) It's a good start though, just keep at it.

*im only saying this cause my friend said it and it made me laugh:
"huh, looks like a burn victim"
