Very cool.
My only crit would be that every character is standing in the exact same way with their legs spread wide. Not sure what you were going for, but it doesn't look natural, and is distracting to me.
That said, I love the lighting on the breastplate and the shield. Also the sheer gritty feeling I get from the horse.

First of all great detail, I love the image. There are 3 things that stand out to me, the first one Joshua Reimer mentioned. The 2nd one is a castle in the background. The outline of it is way to sharp for the amount of fog/darkness going on. The third guy down from the horse is completely blurred out from the fog and such but the castle that’s far away is easily seen. The other thing would be, there seems to be some sort of light source that is causing the reflections on all the armor and such, I would brighten the ground in front of the army just a little. That way it looks like the army is actually blocking out the light because its so dense with soldiers. But as I said before I think you did a good job and I do love the piece, keep them coming. :)

Nice, me likey =)
My only comment is on the riders helmet. It appear to be at an angle on his head, but the spikes are level. While thats not impossible, and now that I think about it, not a bad idea (a helmet with a circle of spikes at an angle), its not very clear whether it was intentional or a mistake, unless you look at it very closely to discern the helmet from the skull.
