At 59:15 he resizes layer 19 with only the dead body, but it selects her leg too,why?

Also since it selects the leg as well , it hashed his painting, but he "erased" it back to normal, how did he do this? History eraser brush?

layer 19 is a copy of the dead body and the leg ao erasing it reveals what is under it.

Can anyone explain how he selected more than one layer at a time, and adjusted it?
Normally it lets me select one at a time.

sure copy mergered.... have the two layers selected and choose copy merged then paste

In case you don't know it, Copy Merged lies under "edit", or hit Ctrl+shift+C when you have selected something. Do note that copy merged doesnt work if you have layers hidden or nothing selected.
