hi all!
This is a soon-to-be published piece, but my deadline got extended by a few days so I hope to get some feedback, and hint of how to make it better.
The article is about sudden and unfortunate death to players in Roleplaying games, and how the gamemaster can "punish" annoying players. The girl is being struck by lightning, the guy is just surprised. Any C&C appreciated :)

Oh, and the reflection on the grass has some work left and the guys hands as well... I'll working on that right now.

There are two things that jump into my mind. One: I think you could have exaggerated the girl and the mans pose more.
Two: I get the feeling that the lightning is somewhat behind the girl and not in direct contact. Perhaps adding a few lightning "lines" infront of her as well and/or giving her an aura the same colour.
A very nice rendering though I must say.

It's a pretty good piece but i have to agree with GiantPanda, the lightning definantly feels like it's behind the woman. Maybe try to get some more streaks of lightning on and through the hair, as well as her hands.

hello,

I´m not sure if you´re done with this yet, but I´ve got some crits. The trees in the background needs some more detailing, like smaller branches and twigs. Is there supposed to be clouds in the sky? If its the wrath of God kind of lightning I guess there is no need for clouds :] The chainmail looks more like the Ivanhod chainmail than metal rings. I´d like to see some of the womans feet also.

Nice pic otherwise, I like the colours.
