Hi!
I did this a week or so ago and figured I should post it here so that I might get some feedback on what could be done better.
Im interested in what you think of the composition, in particular. It feels like the different elements (primarily the wing) do not cooperate very well.
Your help is appreciated.

I like the style of the fast fall off shadow on the man in the bottom, but you're right about the wing. It's kind of akward and doesn't have the edges that the rest of the piece does, you might conciderhaving them folded behind the creature. Nice tho.

unless you want the man to be in a different picture than the creature(the pic slashed into 2 halfes by that dark line) then you should consider also the moon casts a shadow, which you completely forgot considering the man.or you want to make a big rock behind him to cast a shadow.that'd also get rid of the question and maybe add something to the story behind this piece.:)

Yes, folding the wings would probably make a better composition and since he is pretty stationary it is a bit odd having them stretched out to begin with. I should have thought about that earlier.

Trying to get the man and the background to be more connected might also be a good idea.

Thanks for the crits.

the wings are shaped oddly, look up bird wings on the internet. and as stated the wings look kinda funny just being out. maybe in a semi closed postion? you can look up hawkman, and ascension. both comic characters have wings, its a good start. i can tell your a fan of Hellboy!
:D
