J'aime beaucoup quand tu reviens au noir sur tes croquis. Tu utilises un stylo pinceau non?
L'aquarelle est bien aussi! Et je suis fan du Totoro en pâte à modeler! ^^

Encore de bien jolies choses! ^^
Les croquis au stylo http://www.simonteramed.com/59.jpg sont un peu moins réussis, ça se voit que tu es moins à l'aise qu'avec un crayon et un pinceau. Les traits sont moins assurés et tu repasses plein de fois au même endroit, alors que ce qui fait la force de la plupart de tes croquis c'est justement le côté "one shot" : peu de lignes mais elles sont justes.
Mais c'est sans doute une question de pratique?
A propos de tes digit, humm ya encore du boulot! XD
Nan je rigole mais il faudrait essayer des choses un peu plus poussées pour voir. Je trouve dommage qu'on perde complètement les "edges" dans tes peintures. (Hard, firm, soft et loose edges). C'est un peu fouilli à ce niveau là, pareil pour tes systèmes de valeur.
Continue en tout cas! :)

First of all, I think you should change the title of your sketchbook ;]
I did like your figures, neat lines. Also how you use watercolors to addform to them. Digital stuff is quite messy, you could finish up some of those, would be a great exercise after all the speedpaints.

Oh! I love your female figures! YOu have such nice loose lines.

I feel with you about being able to finish and not knowing what more detail to add.
I figured drawing from life or looking at a photo reference (even if it's not the same as your painting) gives me a clue on how much more variation in shapes, colors and values there is in the world. :)
That helps to get inspired on the piece I'm working on.

Hey, this is great! Your watercolors are awesome, and your line has an amazing flow. I really like the figures. Someone said something about proportions before, but I don't see the problem. You nail those poses man, and that's what really counts. Who cares if the proportions are off when you manage to catch the figures like that ...

However, and I say with all respect because I'm in the exact same spot, your digital stuff could use some practice.

First off, great SB +subscribe! I really enjoy the comics, good stuff! :)
The studies also look very promising, you sometimes see people who work in this "comicy" style, and they never bend out to the realism work. But you are doing a great job at both!
And I think studying the two next to each other helps a lot! The watercolour studies are very nice as well. + the tarot cards look cool :)

I am so impressed by your speeds on page that I haven't even seen the other, between
page 1 & 8. I still don't really use Photoshop as a drawing tool, but I use flash because
because the most stuff I draw will be animated but your stuff and Clochette's sketch
book make me think twice why I haven't started yet,......

man your lines are sooo cool - super confidence throughout, as well in your colour pieces... great stuff. your pen sketches of environments especially have got great flow to them. have you thought about using a brush pen (http://www.cultpens.com/acatalog/Pentel_Brush_Pen.html) in addition to your current set up? they're really cool and could be an effective way to brush some big areas of dark in...

only problem is i want to see more of them! more?
