Hello, your all wondering :wtf: that was all about.
We are currently having some problems with our current host. What was suppose to be a few hour isp change took 3 days, they screwed up restoring the site twice.
as some of you already know we are looking for a new server.
We plan to have a new server by nov 1st...we can only hope.
When we get the new server you can expect big changes. Our website is in development and we plan to implement the newest verison of vBulletin.
We appologize for the downtime, it was out of our control.
....Hopefully alot of new art will show up in the forum though, you did have 3 days to do something

Davi, I think I pm'd someone about this but no one ever answers me here anyway. I had some server space to spare and would have been glad to help out.
It doesn't seem I am on the inside of the group, yet though...so I guess it was ignored. Anyway, if you need any help...just yell.

Van: this is what Jason Maley wrote some time ago.
about a hundred and twenty gigabytes per month...but this goes up every single month as more and more users join...ive no idea how far it is going to go up in the future....we also need a boatload of server space...ive no idea where we are at right now total...maybe fifteen gigs of stuff is up there (andrews portraits...fosters stuff...paper textures...etc...etc...etc...backups of the forums database etc...)
You knew that?

Yup. I run a forum quite a bit bigger than this one. And I have servers with specs to handle that volumes and the pipes to handle the bandwidth.
I only do this for a living.
And no, dammit...Im not talking about sketchforums. That is my forum for posting my stuff so I can link it here.

hey van....thanks for the offer. it is appreciated. i have been up to my ears getting my new company off the ground. i have next week earmarked to get the new host information sorted out. I would have contacted you then. but right now...while we are at it....what must we do to get this started?
we need good speed....lots more space....can you pass along your server specs?
