Hey nice work! Ive seen the gameplay videos and im really looking foward to it. I think u did a good job expressing the atmosphere and mood of the game. However, im kinda worried it will turn out to be generic, like all other abandoned creepy space station movies/games we've all seen, but i really hope this turns out good. Thumbs up to u!

Very grotesque! I can tell that's what you were going for, you did a nice job on the blood and gore, must have practice. The only thing that is kind of ehh, is that it is grotesque, but it's not that scary feeling. I know you can't stray away from the concept of the game, but introduce something that isn't normally in a scary setting. Make the rooms have brighter colors in them, but of course still in darkness. Or maybe make some of the dead bodies children, or make some cutesy stickers or something on the wall sort of like a hello kitty thing or something. Mix cute, or nice, or happy, into the grotesque to make it more scary, creepy, and freaky.

Thanks guys. I have a bunch more that have a bit more color in them, i just don't have clearance to post those yet. Hopefully more work will be be released as the launch of the game approaches.

Got the game toady, the levels resemble your artwork very closely, the game is a work of art, brilliant atmosphere and tension..........

Just bought the game a couple days ago online! If you're an in house concept artist can you yell at EA for not putting their games on Steam? So annoying. ;\

More importantly, this game blows my mind when I play it. The visual design is nigh on perfect, I often find myself taking baby steps through levels just to take everything in. Well, that and I'm afraid of something jumping out at me and killing me if I run... Which is obviously a hallmark of any good horror game.

It's also one of the most bug-free PC games I've played in a while. Which is no small feat. I mean, my computer kills the recommended requirements of most games out but all of them tend to stutter now and then. The fact that this game runs so smoothly really helps maintain the immersion.

Overall, awesome art and awesome game!!!

Have you used any 3D models in the paintings? Just curious, some structures look identical to the game on my screen.............

Got to state again, this art rules, bloody and beautiful, the tight design on the corridors of the Ishimura, very foreboding and excellently designed..........

While minimal, the colour palette in the game is gorgeous.......

If you can show us more that would be great, keep it up!

Actually, if I remember correctly, there are these Necromorphs specifically designed to turn dead bodies into new Necromorphs. It's possible that they could have managed to infect all the corpses on the Ishimura, but from what I've seen, there are still some the Necromorphs haven't gotten to yet.

I love how Jack Thompson wants GTA IV to be banned, but he hasn't said a word about Dead Space, where strategic dismemberment is one of the main selling points.

Good stuff! Game play is pretty nice too. I've only had it a few days and haven't had much time to play yet. Love the concept art you've thrown up here and I've seen at least a few of what must be the finished product of some of these shots. Top notch illustrations all around - very creepy stuff. :)
