damn i can't really put my finger on it, but this doesn't look like a drawing for a card.. maybe it's because there's no color.. are you gonna color this? or maybe it's because the pic is so big.. maybe looks better if one sees it in a 1:1 scale..

it just looks too "sketchy" imho.. :/

i don't think ive ever seen death like that, but good card. very gothic. I like the illustrations of little men. You should color it.

To me, this looked like a cross between the Hermit card (Diogenes carrying the lamp of truth) and the Death card with a touch of greeting card thrown in. For myself the Tarot Death cards I have always enjoyed have an immediate impact, usually based on lighting, dramatic. Since the major aspect to the card is one of change, it should make you shift mentally right when you look at it.

Its a nice illustration but I feel falls a little short of the Tarot feeling.

for me personally, it's a distraction that i can see where all the lines went, i'm too caught up in the physicality of what appears to be ball point. i don't think it is, but the point (har!) is that if you drew it at about twice the scale, you'd have much better control over the details that i think, in this version, you're kind of losing (like the small silhouettes up top). hope this helps.
