first art post, and it's a wip. go figure. i'm happy with how this one is coming along. c&c are more than welcome. i'd like advice on technique, maybe a little help with color. anything at all is appreciated. anyway. i am trying some of the oil brushes in the fine art 2 brush set for painter, focusing on round rough oil and round rough dry brushes. this image is starting to get a *bit* old, as i've already started cleaning up some of the rougher spots. i don't have much of a work flow defined, i'm all over the place. maybe that's why i never finish anything. :bash:

My suggestion would be to block in all the base colors first, then come in with shading and highlighting... but it's still comin' along. Post more steps as you go along so we can keep track. Peace

update. haven't been working on this piece, unfortunately, but i picked it up last night/this morning. filling in the gaps, some more progress pics.
at this point, i decided to try some different colors.

c&c welcome. i'm also looking for ideas as to what to do with the eyes.
