help new beggining

Ok well I havn't drawn for a while and I just started back in it.

I have a question. Is it fine if I use a mechanical pencil most of the time or is that bad? Also can any of you show me the proper way to shade drawings aswell as draw hands and most important feet. Thank you and I'm new here.

Post your stuff, even if its just starting back up, that way we can give advice that might be appropriate to your level.

mechanical pencils are fine, but I'd suggest something else for shading and anatomy studies.

Hands, feet and shading all come with studies and practice. Pic some good anatomy books and get crackin.
