Modern Crusaders

Hi Fellows
I'm new here...so
I have an idea, but don't know how to start:
- A order of religious knights in our time, so they don't use sword, armor and horses...can be guns or everything else modern...LIKE the Cruzaders


I just can't sketch anything...please, if somebody undestand the idea, help me work on it .

Haha you know im actually working on two guys just like that but they do wear some armor and carry guns and med weapons. Eisen and Romulus are their names. I still cant find me scanner cord but once I do ill post a couple sketches.
Mine are a lil more into the future though I dubed them the 2k80 Crusaders.

REALLY..so, this is not a revolutionary concept, but can be improved in many ways.
Shows the image to me when you it will be able, perhaps let us can change ideas.

Well, I search some material on net, and find this picture of the temple order...i want something like this but more modern, if somebody has an ideia please tell me.

I would just take modern body armor, and then tack on some religious symbols like crosses and what not. Maybe a fleur de lise too. SWAT armor might be good to look at, since they like to be identifiable more than the military do.

SWAT armor is a wonderfull ideia ...
But the concept is not something so oppressor, imagine a group of priest, they are not a army...

How about environmentalist? I guess you could call them crusaders. Use plant or animal symbols on their cloths. Gear could be equipment to stop industry. Such as tree climbing gear. Tree spikes, boats, etc. Maybe take it into a more futuristic setting.

Not an army?
To my knowledge the crusaders were definitely an army. At least they wore heavy armor, weapons etc.

Oh and they killed a lot of people.

how about they wear heavy wooden armor and fight against the technolized(sp?) heaths who don't belive in nature like they do?:)

Yes, they were an army... but who kill the people made this for pure interest. I believe exist some people pure... protecting an ideal. :cool:

I am not religious and not against the Church... I believe in the potencial of the people... Leaving of side ideologies...

Maybe somebody not very busy could make a drawing? It is because I don't know where to start...
I must create the caracter in parts? first type the boots, later the clothes etc...
I imagine that a rule for this does not exist, but want to see first, like you do..

Id do a drawing but I dont have my scanner setup and I need a new card for it. But I do have some drawn. One guy wears a chainmail coif or "hood" then for a mask he wears half a helmet, with a visor to shade his eyes, Then it goes down and he has a medieval looking belt and carries 2 short swords and a pistol. My other guy wheres some chainmail stuff and has a torn up err what do you call it...the picture you posted Bern with the cross but the bottom half is gone. And that guy carries a warhammer and im deciding either 2 pistols or a shotgun. And atm he has a skull mask. Both the chars also have crosses on their shingaurds and armor. Im still concepting them but thats what I have so far. Im current working on a guy called the Bombadier. And he wears a full helm(what the guy in the picture has) and carries straps of dynomite on him and 2 uzis. I havent really worked on his clothing/armor yet though. Bern PM me if you want to discuss this idea.
