I know this was mentioned earlier but i'm sitting at work and haven't got time to read all the posts. I can't see little thumbnail images next to the thread. 30percent thumbs of all posts(skechbooks and so on) are hidden, others seem work fine. Wha is the problem?

As a fellow noob I can answer this one as I've just figured it out!
It's up to the original poster to add a thumbnail sized "attachment" to the initial post (see "manage attachments" when posting...)
Not everyone does this (or as in my case knew how to do this!) ergo no thumbnail picy... :lounge:

You don't have to add a separate thumbnail image, although some people do. The thumbnail is automatically generated from the first image attached.
P.S.
Asking a question you know has already been asked and answered multiple times is bad form. It takes less time to do a search than it does to post and wait for an answer.

Sorry...you're right...it doesn't have to be a thumbnail attachment- but my point was it has to be attached, rather than an [/IMG] link...
Which may have been answered before, but it still seems a valid question...from looking around the Forum, about a quarter of all posts lack a preview pic, and obviously lack the little paperclip icon to say there is an attachment, so valvet isn't the only one who isn't aware of this function...
I myself had to figure it out by trial and error...please, no medals...I only did what any insanely brave, handsome and charming person would in the circumstances... :steph:
