I voted Lotet, mainly because of aesthetics.

I disagree, Googs is very good, and is nice and smooth and all... But Lotet's has the best sense of detail, light, and color in my opinion. Lotet has the reflective light and takes into account all different light sources, it is also compositionally strong and includes atmospheric perspective. Goog's would be a much stronger piece if there were a more exiting composition and it weren't made almost entirely with red tones. despite all of this everyone did a very nice job on these!

since im not gonna vote 4 myself im gonna go for goog, not cause the painting or estetics or anything, just that i liked hes design the most, all the others (including myslef) kinda did the same dragon type, googs looks kinda like a nazgûl, whis is hot, me like nazguls.

Haha, there is a lot of texture in there, I can see how you couldn't see them.

haha, ye i know guys, this piece was actually a test for me, to see how far i could paint with just textures, the whole pic is bacicly texture work with some lines here n there to define form. xD

I really like Goog's the eyes are really expressive and from reading on wikipedia about Smaug, he's supposed to be charismatic and be able to hypnotize with his eyes...I like to picture them as being very captivating and I think you got that bit of him the best. Nice work everybody, huge props for participating. Some people, like me, procrastinate too long to ever do anything for these contests. Rock on guys.
