backstory: This is Ba'-Zaar. Once a brilliant professor of botany working in the jungles of Malaria, Professor William Zaar was transformed into a bumbling barbarian when he awoke to find his shoes stolen by a race of cave-dwelling demons called the Vulgari. He now travels throughout the vast jungle of Malaria in a last ditch attempt to reclaim his shoes and along with them his brilliant mind.

My brain was fried from being woken at 4:30 by my coworkers, none of whom could follow printed instructions and had to wake me up so that I could hold their hands and help them out on it.
Blast them. *grr*
Very good work, all. I really like Ba'-zaar.

Wait... I thought "barbarian" meant "characters with claw weapons". You mean it doesn't? Huh?? Am I the ONLY one who thought that "savage" meant "claw-handed"? For real... Is this some new RPG definition that you guys're using? 'Cause I don't think you got it right. Huh? What's going on here??
... .*/
Okay, well - seriously, I don't know how it is that I ended up drawing what I did. I just get distracted sometimes. So... It really doesn't fit the theme, but what am I gonna do? Adult Swim is beginning it's cycle, and I don't wanna miss The Family Guy.

a little late with this but:
Savage-
1 a : not domesticated or under human control : UNTAMED <savage beasts> b : lacking the restraints normal to civilized human beings : FIERCE, FEROCIOUS
2 : WILD, UNCULTIVATED <seldom have I seen such savage scenery -- Douglas Carruthers>
3 a : BOORISH, RUDE <the savage bad manners of most motorists -- M. P. O'Connor> b : MALICIOUS
4 : lacking complex or advanced culture : UNCIVILIZED
synonym see FIERCE
and barbarian means basically the same thing. I think everyone pretty much got it right. It's nice to see a pencil sketch from you today mr. hand. nice work all. now...what the hell is a dryad?!

A tree spirit, typically portrayed as a beautiful young woman with leaves in her hair or some other kind of "nature"-y motif.
Most tabletop RPG players know from Dryad, it's kind of obscure otherwise.

hmm, Iīm sure that Iīll be hated for bumping this up or something, but here goes, info for you artists:
Barbarian traditionaly is used for crased Norse fighting men that wen into fighting frenzy without regard to theyr own safety which made them even more fierce than theyr big burly selves were before...
But the word "Berserk" comes from Bear-Serk. Serk comes again from the word "Serkur" which is old norse for a kind of sweater made out of wool and sometimes, fur. The old norse thought the bear the strongest of all animals and naturally that meant that if you killed one with your bare hands that you were stronger than a bear. So they made themselves a "Serk" out of it and wore it to battle to intimidate theyr foes. And some thought that wearing the skin of a bear gave you some of theyr strength and thought themselves invulnerable.. Which might attribute a bit to the legendary berserker frenzy...
Thank you.
