Here are the finished covers. Voting will be open for 2 weeks. Good luck all and well done.

The challenge was to create a Book Cover given the following description:

The title of the book is: Full Moons and Hot Chocolate

And the book shall be summed up as "A corporate werewolf thriller/horror, with comical undertones but harsh realities."

I've taken this from COW as it applies:

1. Please give c&c or a reason why you voted for the image!

2. Feel free to comment on any or all entries, the artists will appreciate it!

3. No voting for your own entry!!! If a participants votes for his own entry, every member has the right to call him a stupid lame moron in this thread! And i will delete his/her vote anyway...

Pure vector drawing (except the moons) because I like high-impact simple for covers, especially when the theme is open to multiple interpretations.

The image was obvious and easy--I imagined how I would look to my clients at 3 a.m. after no sleep for three days. That's pretty much it.

I wanted make something that if it were in a store it would catch the viewer's eye. Want them to walk in with a sense of "what is this?"
I used the descriptions and symbols and attempted to make something that was simple and vague all at once. My main goal was not to be obvious.

My entry is a straight forward interpretation of the theme of the book.
I wanted it to be unavoidable on the book shelf.

It was primarily conceived in oils, but was touched up and titled in Photoshop.

I started my design from title. Giving it some comical aspect with fantasy font.
Well you figure the rest of it out.

SAWART has an intriguing concept, and I really like Armando's suspenseful entry.

Ultimately, Ilaekae gets my vote. I thought it best suited the description and is the most finished looking entry.

Briantoreilly616, you should post what the assignment was for the piece.
It makes it hard to judge otherwise.
