Couple of quick suggestions for you:

The right arm on the demon lord needs to be adjusted, it looks like a little stump.

Those dogs are not very terrifying, and I think it is because of the ears. I would suggest replacing standard looking hounds with something more sinister. Reptilian, or insectoid might be what you are looking for.

The piece needs a bit more in the highlighting area. The colors are all so similar, the details are washed out. Get aggressive with you choice of colors and push the envelope a bit more.

You have a good start going here, and with some tweaking it can be a good piece as a whole. Keep at it!

really cool concept. execution-wise, i agree with most of the points irate customer raised though. especially on the subjects arm and the dogs not looking fierce enough. a little more tweaking would do the trick.

also, the highlights you used in the silhouette is a bit too sharp? maybe you could make it blend with the subject more.

i didn't had the time to change the dogs and the arm, but i did some work on the lighting, and hopefully, made the whole scene less boring

I like the sharp highlights.- but only having them behind the center-dude is kinda cheap. add some glow in other parts of the pic?

One thing that makes him look kinda tiny is the female in the backdrop, she looks like shes far off, but shes still nearly as big as the main dude. This gives me the impression that both the guy and his dogs are rather small?

just my thoughts.

I like the moody colors though. you got somethin sweet goin on there:)

theres higlights and midtones but theres no shadow or shading i thin you neeed to add something darker to add depth and push the image, good work though
