Hey all, I've posted some stuff in the Critique section a while back and figured it was about time to start a sketchbook of my own.

Much of this initial dump is older work of mine to add padding and show my growth/direction as an artist. Independent comics is my background and right now, I'm trying to steer myself back toward more realistic moods and figures (which I haven't really done since college).

I was more or less away fro my art for about 2 years after I moved from Australia to Japan so I'm a little bit out of practice and appreciate any and all crits/advice offered.

First up - some of my comic-inspired work:

Some of my 3D (with Photoshop) work - 3 of the pieces are based on HALO:

i really like your turtles piece.

Thank you and sorry I originally missed your post - I was so busy spamming my own to notice.

The Turtle pic shown is my 3rd attempt at coloring that particular drawing. The first wasn't very good, the 2nd was a B&W version with only the mask and blood colored red at the request of a friend and then finally this version which I think is the best.

Some more speed paints (my latest fetish):

Some more Speed paints... the final piece in this group is a re-imagined version of my earlier Dogfight. I wanted to try it again but do it much quicker and rougher and with a different mood to the whole picture.

I much prefer how this version worked out.
