man on cliff WIP

On my ongoing mission to get a grip on color I made this, rather quick (for me at least). Im tryingout a new way (for me) to color - large fields first, then some detail.

I wonder if the lighting is ok, I will try to get some sort of nightsky with this later on :/

Good atmosphere you have going here. I really like the guy's stance.

I think that the sky's blue is far too vivid. It draws way too much attention away from your figure.

The light on your figure suggests a sunrise/set on his right, whereas the sky suggests late evening after sunset with the main light source coming from behind him.

I wouldn't suggest changing too much more on your figure, except maybe refining it. Play around with the sky... clouds and stuff. Please try to stay away from the gradients too. Everyone can spot them a mile away.

I will try to change the sky into something more appropriate, "to vivid" yes - thats right! :D
Sadly Im not good at clouds, I´ll have to go look on some references for those...
