How do you record painting sessions?

I see more and more artists recording their speed painting sessions online. Is there some sort of 3rd party software that will record your digital painting session?

I know Painter can do this, but if you work in PS, ow can this be achieved?

Any programs like this for the Mac?

There are alot of free recording softwares out there, you just ahve to look around. If you are doing traditional I found this device works best for my recordings with an overhead sketch view.
