So I hapend to take a walk down memory lane today...
I remembered one of the mst inspiring pieces of artwork I ever laid eyes on, and one of the things that really made me get interested in bettering my skills as an artist.
I'm talking about Martin F Emond's comic/graphic novel "White Trash".
For anyone who doesn't know of Emond's work, I suggest googling it.
Sadly he passed away quite young, but his work are still inspiring.
However, finding pieces of White Trash is far more difficult.
The story revolves around two characters, strangely similar to (and believing fully they are) Elvis Presely and Axl Rose.
It's a violent story with many turns and interesting hooks, but the thing that always struck me was how packed every page would be with elements that could best be described as .. a page of artwork (sometimes a two-page spread of artwork).
I wish I could find it again....
Anyways, just spending some time sharing part of what inspired me to get into this...
